This is the online home of Dawn Mclachlan (aka Dawn Finch) - poet, author, allotmenteer. This is where you’ll find all of my blogs about writing and community engagement.

As well as being a published author I am passionate about community activism. I am based in a rural community in the north of Aberdeenshire, Scotland and I am passionate about all aspects of sustainable rural regeneration. I am a director of Greener Huntly and the curator of the Huntly Seed Bank.

This website is my effort to bring a whole load of threads together so there is quite a bit going on here. Just have a click around and explore.
